Blooming Today

Happy Easter
(blooming at Longwood Gardens)
Not so long now, only a month or so until this is reality.
I'd settle for a few pansies.
Hana ki soi above is probably the
most photographed plant in my garden
even though it's not a daylily.
Morning calm (that's the Korean
hybrid trumpet vine on the obelisk).
Above, back border in late June,
all daylilies are oldies
Lilting Belle with low-growing astilbe and some hibiscus
bloom
Lady Neva pairs up well with Uncle Bryan.
The purple coneflowers might be a little too riotous
for some tastes.
Red Volunteer, Nona's Garnet Spider, Black Prince,
Krakatoa Lava
in a narrow border in July.
